Jami began her career in public safety in the Eastern part of Washington State. Since then, she has moved through a variety of roles in the public safety realm, working as a 911 telecommunicator, training coordinator, community liaison, and government affairs specialist. Through that experience, Jami has developed a passion for leadership
Jami began her career in public safety in the Eastern part of Washington State. Since then, she has moved through a variety of roles in the public safety realm, working as a 911 telecommunicator, training coordinator, community liaison, and government affairs specialist. Through that experience, Jami has developed a passion for leadership and personal growth. She is looking forward to helping others achieve professional success and embrace leadership principles.
Outside of work, Jami enjoys being outdoors (especially hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!) and playing her new pup, Ollie.

Katy found her first passion in working in the 911 industry, and has stayed there ever since! She spent many years working on an active 911 floor and supervising and mentoring 911 telecommunicators. Katy found her first passion in working in the 911 industry, and has stayed there ever since! She spent many years working on an active 911 floor and supervising and mentoring 911 telecommunicators. She has worked in several roles, from entry level, to supervisor, to deputy of operations in government. Through this work, Katy had the opportunity to develop a passion for culture and creating a positive environment. She is excited to help others create a positive culture in their work space.
Outside of work, Katy is a mother of four. She also enjoys art, particularly creating stained glass pieces.
Our Story
Background
Jami and Katy met in the 911 center, working side-by-side as 911 telecommunicators. Over time, they both moved to different positions, promoting to supervisory positions. They worked together to train and mentor new employees for several years - fueled by a mutual love of helping others and coffee!
Passion for People
Over time, both Jami and Katy started to see challenges in the culture of the 911 center. 911 centers have a reputation for having a difficult environment for many reasons, including the inherent stress of first response and shift work. They both began looking for more training opportunities where they could learn leadership principles and ways to improve morale.
New Beginnings
Jami and Katy both eventually moved on from the 911 center and found leadership positions with different government agencies. They both landed in positions where they felt supported and able to make positive change. From there, they both recognized an interest in continuing to help others - this time with culture, leadership, and morale.
